WHERE

WE’RE MOVING HOME!

This summer, we will be holding events regularly under our new name ART MACABRE DRAWING SALONS at:

CASS ART flagship store, 66-67 Colebrooke Row, Islington, London, N1 8AB
Map & directons here Nearest tube Angel and lots of buses run past it
Our loyal sponsor for the past year, Cass Art will be helping us fill this town with artists and allowing us to takeover their stores for late opening events throughout the summer
It’s a fantastic high ceilinged, industrial feel studio space, with lots of space so everyone can get a good view of the acton, exposed brickwork and all the art materials you could dream of on hand!

THE GREAT OUTDOORS…we’re going outside into the wild! We’ll be announcing festival events, alfresco sketching and outdoor adventures very soon

PLUS other special one-off venues and collaborations to be announced…IF YOU HAVE A VENUE/FESTIVAL you’d like to host our salons at, please get in touch!

PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NO LONGER ASSOCIATED WITH THE VICTORIA
Our drawing salons were held at The Victoria pub in Mile End from May 2010 to April 2011. We enjoyed a year of events in the intimate back room but times are a changing and like all true artists we’re nomadic by nature so WATCH THIS SPACE for updates as to our new base from now on.

Due to artistic differences and unresolvable ideological clashes, we have decided to abandon ship at The Vic and so will no longer be associated with any life drawing or other creative events there. Please be aware that any events now run there are not connected in any way to us as organisers and artists. We are currently in transition to a new home for our events and will now be known as ART MACABRE DRAWING SALONS. Any events that you see called Death Drawing are nothing to do with the salons that you’ve grown to know and love!
