Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night’s Dream
We marked the longest day of the year in a murderously magical Midsummer special. Our titian haired Titania sang Celtic folk lullabies to her new ass-headed lover, as we presented a bare Bottom complete with donkey ears and leather muzzle. Amongst flora and fauna, ravens and deer, they posed as the spell was cast and the unlikely romance ensued.
The mischievous blue-haired Puck, that knavish sprite, caused trouble amongst our Art Macabre woods and by the bonfire made of bones, reflecting the traditions of Midsummer around the world. Some delightfully surreal sketches were created as a result. Take a peek and all shall be revealed…
